Granulation is one of the most important unit operation in the production of pharmaceutical oral dosage forms. Granulation is used mainly to improve flow, compressibility of powders, and to prevent segregation of the blend components, improve content uniformity, and eliminate excessive amounts of fine particles. The results will be improved yields, reduced tablet defects, increased productivity, and reduced down time. Particle size of the granules is mainly affected by the quantity and feeding rate of granulating liquid. Pharmaceutical granules typically have a size range between 0.2 and 4.0 mm, depending on their subsequent use. Among all granulating techniques, Moisture Activated Dry Granulation (MADG) technology is widely used in granulation of moisture sensitive active pharmaceutical ingredients. The objective of present work is to focus on the novel granulation technologies. Keywords

A new acid-base indicator which is natural and inexpensive is proposed. It is capable of distinguishing between the acids and bases. The extract obtained from leaves of Rhoeo syathacea and flowers of Allamanda cathartic are pH sensitive and give different colors in acidic and basic condition. The present work highlights the use of Rhoeo syathacea, Allamanda cathartic plant species extract as an acid base indicator in different type of acid base titration. The equivalence point obtained by plant species extract matched with equivalence point obtained by standard indicators. Many more indicators are use in titration to detect the end point of detection, but such chemical indicators are found to be very expensive and mostly they are unavailable. Therefore, we tried to prepare indicator from natural source like plant leaves, flowers. As these plants are very common and easily available as well as indicator obtained from them are found to be economic. Since our main intention is to prepare an indicators which are easily available and economical one. Keywords

Polymers have been successfully employed in the formulation of solid, liquid and semisolid dosage forms and are specifically useful in the design of modified release drug delivery systems. Both synthetic and natural polymers have been investigated extensively for this purpose, but the use of natural polymers for pharmaceutical applications is attractive because they are economical, readily available, non-toxic, and capable of chemical modifications, potentially biodegradable and with few exceptions, also biocompatible. One of the most remarkable and useful features of a polymers swelling ability manifests itself when that swelling can be triggered by a change in the environment surrounding the delivery system. This review mainly put emphasis on description of various natural polymers used in drug delivery development process. Keywords

The word or term “Nutraceutical” is a combination of two words i.e. “Nutrition” and “Pharmaceutical”. The term 'nutraceutical' was coined in 1989 by DeFelice. Basically nutraceutical is a food or part of food and it has huge historical background regarding to treatment of various disease. Nutraceuticals plays a significant role in normal physiological function, which helps to maintain human health. In recent period, all people are conscious about their daily diet as well as health. In India many people have preconception or prejudice about nutrition and health. India is a developing country. So many people of rural areas are suffering from non-communicable diseases and disorders due to lack of proper knowledge about nutrition, food and diet. The present article provides some information about “Nutraceuticals and human health. In recent years there is a growing interest in nutraceuticals has been seen in market place. This article mainly helps to provide essential knowledge of nutraceutical with its numerous uses in various ailments. This article also contains important legal requirements that are necessary for register a nutraceutical product.
